Experience in education…

I have been a cosmetologist and instructor for 41 years. I have continued my education, attaining certifications in many areas, including cutting, color, makeup, texture, air brushing, design texture, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and tools.

Experience in the beauty Industry…

I have worked in salons for over 41 years, gaining valuable experience behind the chair and eventually opening my own salon. My specialty areas are color and color correction.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

Throughout my years, I have had a few mentors. Mr. Phil was one of my first. He was always so encouraging and a big believer in continuing education. He taught me to never stop learning among many other things. In my industry circle, it would be Stephanie Kocielski. She is everything I would love to be. She is motivated, positive, professional, and driven. She is a great example of what we need in this industry. She makes me proud to have been a part of the Paul Mitchell family.

My favorite thing about working at PM School is…

the students.. I do my best to be a role model for them, as Stephanie is for me. My greatest joy is to see them successful, knowing that I was a part of that journey. I truly love each and every one of them. I am also part of what I call my “Dream Team.” I am so blessed to work with these people.

To me, living beautifully means…

To follow where my heart leads me. It means to have balance and structure in my life, so I can better help others in theirs. Living beautifully means that I live in gratitude. I know that I have been given more than I have earned in this life. Faith keeps me strong and grounded. Inspiring others and doing my part creates a beautiful life, don’t you think?
